Cousin Silas – “Deserted Highways” – 180611

Sorted out the bass parts in CE5.

I decided to go with the second set of bass loops for the “A” Section. The first loop just wasn’t good enough – too rough. The second loop is much smoother.

The “B” section idea I had seems to work OK, IMO, but I will leave all such decisions up to Cousin Silas.

I recorded three guitar parts on my Fender Stratocaster using the Tascam 2488 and the Pod 2.0. One of the parts is meant to “cover” the “B” section, while the other two parts are meant to be used sparingly throughout the “A” section. Did audio cleanup on these parts using Cool Edit Pro and imported them into the project file in CE5. Hopefully, if I get a bit of time tomorrow, I’ll go through these parts and edit to my heart’s content.
